PRICE LIST
The following items were bought from the family of a woman who collected autographs in the 1930's. All contain the original postmarked mailing envelope which contains the autograph item. All signatures are strong ink signatures except where noted.
- Jane Addams - was a founder of the U.S. Settlement House movement, and one of the first American women to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Signature on 3x6 paper with mailing envelope from Hull House. $125
- Bruce Barton - US congressman and religious leader, inscription, date and signature on 2x5 paper glued to cardboard. $25
- Calvin Coolidge - signature on blank side of a 3x5 card. $225
- Kaye Don - world record breaking car and speedboat racer who became a motorcycle dealer on his retirement from road racing and set up Ambassador Motorcycles. Typed letter signed on New Whittier, Detroit stationery. $150
- Kaye Don - signature on 2x5 cut $75
- Mina Edison - wife of Thomas Edison, short note on 2x3 card, signed Mrs. Thomas Edison. $25
- Harry Emerson Fosdick - signaure on 2x3 card , slight paper clip indentation not touching signature. $80
- Dolly Curtis Gann - half sister of Charles Curtis (31st VP of US), controversial figure who enjoyed the role of 2nd Lady of the United States. Signature on 2x3 card. $20
- Floyd Gibbons - typed signed letter on personal stationery. $50
- Edgar Guest - short typed letter on Edgar Guest Detroit Free Press stationery. $15
- Herbert Hoover - signature on White House card, with letter from secretary on White House stationery. $250
- H. L. Mencken - typed letter signed on The American Mercury stationery. $300
- Frank Murphy - Supreme Court Justice, typed letter signed, on personal stationery. $225
- Eleanor Roosevelt - fine signature on 4x6 printed card picturing White House. The envelope is postmarked Mar 14,1933, just 9 days after FDR's inauguration. One of her very early First Lady signatures! Also include letter from her secretary on White House stationery. $250
- Theodore Roosevelt Jr. - signature on Office of the Governor General stationery. (he was Gov. Genl. of the Philippines) $90
- Walter Winchell - signature on Daily Mirror stationery. $10
